Jogja Fashion Week 2014 "AURA"

First impression I attended JFW was "Fabulous". I never imagine children who are younger than me, they could made beautiful dresses. Day 1, A single show form Ninik N-workshop in colaboration with elementary school students, junior high school students, also vocational school students really made me proud to them. Elementary school and junior high school students drew batik with their own imagination pattern, then 24 vacational students designed all the batik fabrics into beautiful dresses.

Snorkeling at Umbul Ponggok

Almost a week I've not met my boyfie. He always occupied by lecture's tasks also his job. But he never forget me to make my day beautiful. He called me than picked me up from campus. In the car, there were Kenang,Bang Aab and Bang Jojo (Kenang's friends) also Kak Cahya and Kak Dwi (Bang Aab's Friends). On our way, Kenang told me that we were going to Umbul Ponggok.

Previously, I've ever heard about this place. Yaps! Umbul Ponggok is pool with cold water derived from source Ponggok. It isn't a usual pool. There are fishes also corals and sand. We can have snorkeling there guys! So it looks like sea. Unique!

Umbul Ponggok is located on Klaten. The price of admission is halpenny, IDR 4.000,00 you can swim and snorkeling, unlimited. If you don't have snorkeling masker, there are tenancies snorkeling tools. You also can lease camera under water for an hour is IDR 60.000,00.

Hand sewing "skater skirt"

As I shared before about my last accident, FYI I couldn't go anywhere freely. That was such a banishment hehehe. So, I decided to made skater skirt with circle technique. Actually it's a simple technique from measuring, drawing the pattern, cutting the pattern on fabric, until sewing. But the hardest past that I've encountered was sewed the fabric. Due to I don't have sewing machine, I took hand sewing. And it took a long times.

To make this skater skirt, I need 1,5 meters fabric. With the length of the skirt is 19,5 inches and my waist is 25,5 inches. Firstly, measured my waist also the length of the skirt, then drew the pattern. After that, I cut the pattern and stick it on the fabric. And the last, sewed it. It took an hour from measuring to cut the fabric. But, it took 4 days for sewed the fabric. Actually, I've made 6 pattern that failed. Also, 6 meters fabric failed too. Totally, I finished it 2 weeks.

Wear sneakers not flat shoes while riding motorcycle

Mama just landed in Jogja from Tangerang. So, I decided to went to campus, rode motorcycle by my self even I was not in a good condition. And that was the beginning of my worst accident that I've ever had.

Saturday, 26th April, I rode motorcycle to campus at 7.30 in the morning. FYI, from home to campus I must take minimum 15 minutes. Moreover, there a lot of traffic light along the way to campus. So, I always take a shortcut which are have much speed bumps there. On that day, I took Galo street near Taman Siswa for the shortcut. Suddenly, I didn't see a speed bump so I took a sudden brake. Unfortunately, there were sand on the road which is make my motorcycle didn't restrain. Then I feel down and my feet was bloody due to I wore flat shoes which wasn't covered, my face hit the road, my body dragged along the road for 3-5 cm.

Then everybody who saw me at that time, took a help for me. Also drove me to Hidayatullah Hospital, near Galo street. Lied on hospital's bad was never as comfort as I lied on own bad, guys! One thing that frowned me, when doctor said that she must sutured :( I can't imagine how hurt it was! Cried while nurse and doctor formed a tight seam, close my eyes with my hands, and said "Allahuakbar" also istighfar.

I did't know how long the anesthetic disappear, but I know when it wore off it feel very hurt. And, yes! It was! 3 Weeks I couldn't walked normally. 3 Weeks I couldn't went away from house. But now, I do activities normally. Even though there were still scares.

I promise to my self to not ride motorcycle in a bad condition. Always focus along the way. And.... Wear sneakers not flat shoes hehehe.

Met one of a friendly Trans TV's Floor Director

Floor director is being popular now days. I just knew it since one of suhoor meal's program named YKS last year showed off the crews on the cameras. And for the floor director, they always wear headphone with microphone on it. I just know more about this profession, when I met Kak Pewe, one of Trans TV's floor director, a few days ago.

A floor director takes all action in the studio during the production under the director's voiced. That's why, they always wear headphone with microphone to connect with the director. They also take control for artists who will appear on the screen. Floor director on big program such as YKS, Dahsyat, Eat Bulaga, etc, which are need audiences in the studio, they keep their mood remain up. Command them to give some ovation, applause, and laughing.

Anyway guys, let me share about Kak Pewe right now!

Kak Pewe is a friendly person. We had a very pleasant chit chat. He shared me about life, lectures, and also work experience enjoyable. Kak Pewe has finished bachelor at Faculty of Communication UPN Veteran Yogyakarta. Pssst, guys, I just knew that he turns my senior at UPN Veteran, by the way.

Kak Pewe is such an active person during his college. He joined "Crast FM", an UKM in the faculty, also sometimes become host on the Radios and events. He also had been a barista, even a clown. But he enjoyed every single job he got. For him that are experiences.

It's been a long time that I'm waiting Marina Beauty Blogger Competition announcement of winner. One day,  I sat on my very comfort couch while opening all social media. I just saw GoGirl! Magz's timeline on twitter. They post the winner of Marina Beauty Blogger Competition which was I joined. I immediately opened it then I scrolled down the mouse and finally I found my name!

As a communication student, I decided to spend my spare time with several activities. It happens mostly outdoors. In addition to be a student, I also am being a press in some local media Yogyakarta. Habitually, after did outdoors activities, I get into the air conditioned room.  It makes my skin become crack as if it is a glass which is filled by a hot water then put in the refrigerator. It becomes broken and dehydrated.

Yesterday, on January 31, 2014, I had the opportunity to report Miss Universe 2013, Maria Gabriela Isler, or commonly called by Molly and Miss Indonesia which on January 29, 2014 has just been crowned, Elvira Devinamira. I was as a press of shecantik and tabloid nova. I reported them in Sheraton Mustika Hotel, Yogyakarta, Indonesia. I was so excited. Understandably, it has been so long that I want to attend one of Indonesia pagnent competition. But I think it just a dream. Because my height isn't enough. Anyway, let me share my photo shot.

As I shared before, that I'm one of 5 winners in autumn photo competition by staccato. So, I choose black oxford shoes.

This is my second post on my blog. I'm about winning some photo competition. One day, Staccato held autumn photo competition to winning a pair of shoes and voucher IDR 500k on their products.
